Dr. Umair Wadood is a medical academic, author, CBT practitioner, researcher, and public speaker whose work bridges science, mental wellbeing, education, and creative expression.
Based in Pakistan, his career spans medical education, neurophysiology, research, mental health, writing, photography, filmmaking, and public engagement. Across these disciplines, his work is driven by a central belief: knowledge becomes meaningful when it improves how people understand themselves and the world around them.
A JOURNEY IN MEDICINE
Dr. Umair Wadood completed his medical education and began a professional journey rooted in human physiology, neuroscience, education, and the deeper understanding of human behaviour.
BEYOND MEDICINE
Alongside medicine, he expanded his work into photography, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship. His creative work gained recognition across Pakistan, where he also contributed as a photography judge and visual storyteller.

After completing his M.Phil in Physiology, he further developed his academic career in medical education and research. His work has included teaching, postgraduate examination, research supervision, and a particular interest in neuroscience and neurophysiology.
